 Day 1

The Amazon Adventure Begins

The tour begins at the Cuyabeno Bridge entrance to the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This will be the meeting point with our naturalist guide.

There are three options for getting to this point: private transportation, public bus, or car. Our team can help you book private transportation from Quito to the Cuyabeno entrance.

Upon arrival, we will enjoy a delicious lunch before beginning our adventure into the Ecuadorian Amazon Rainforest aboard a motorized canoe.

During the ride, you will listen to the sounds of the jungle, and observe a variety of tropical birds, monkeys, and other wildlife inhabiting this ecosystem.
Our naturalist guide will explain how animals and plants interact in this unique environment.

Upon reaching the Ecolodge, you’ll settle into your private cabins. After dinner, our native guide will give an introduction to the activities planned for the following days within the Cuyabeno Wildlife Production Reserve.

Day 2

Discover Amazon Wildlife and Unforgettable Landscapes

At dawn, the sounds of Amazonian birds welcome you to a new day of adventure. After breakfast, we’ll navigate upstream and begin a guided hike along the banks of the Cuyabeno River.

Along the way, you’ll encounter giant trees, aquatic plants, orchids, medicinal herbs, and an incredible diversity of Amazon wildlife and bird species.

After lunch, enjoy some time to relax at the lodge. In the afternoon, we’ll travel by canoe to the Laguna Grande, where you’ll witness one of the most magical moments of the trip: a breathtaking Amazon sunset and the chance to spot pink and gray river dolphins swimming freely.

Back at the lodge, dinner will be served. Later, you’ll embark on an exciting night canoe excursion to spot the legendary black caimans of the Amazon and experience the mysterious jungle sounds under the moonlight—a memory you’ll never forget.

Day 3

From Cuyabeno Back to Civilization

Early in the morning, we’ll go birdwatching as we travel downstream, enjoying the beauty of the sunrise over the jungle. After breakfast, we’ll begin our return journey along the Cuyabeno River back to the entrance of the reserve.

After breakfast, we will begin the return trip along the Cuyabeno River to the entrance bridge of the reserve (11:00 a.m.), where you can take your transportation back home. End of our services.
