About Us
We are Green Forest Ecolodge, an ecological lodge in the heart of the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve, in the province of Sucumbíos, in the Ecuadorian Amazon.
Our mission
To set an example of environmental and social sustainability, aligned with the conservation goals of the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve. Every decision we make, from how we build our cabins to how we manage our waste, follows that principle.
What we do
We offer a unique experience in the Amazon rainforest together with a deep understanding of the environment and why its conservation matters. Our 3, 4 and 5-day programmes combine canoe rides, jungle trails, birdwatching, kayaking, night walks and visits to local communities.
Our commitment
- To nature. We operate inside a protected reserve and work to leave the smallest possible footprint. Our eco-cabins combine natural timber structures with the comfort you need after a day in the jungle.
- To the communities. Strengthening local communities is part of why we exist. We work with native guides who know this territory better than anyone, and we share the culture of the nationalities who inhabit Cuyabeno with our visitors.
- To our guests. Hospitality comes first. We accompany every trip from the first enquiry to the journey home.
Where we are
